Description

Yalcin Isler received the B.Sc. degree in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anadolu University, Eskisehir, Turkey, in 1993, the M.Sc. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Suleyman Demirel University, Isparta, Turkey, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey, in 2009.

From 1993 to 2000, he was Lecturer at Burdur Vocational School, Suleyman Demirel University. He worked as Software Engineer from 2000 to 2002. He was research assistant in Zonguldak Karaelmas University from 2002 to 2003 and in Dokuz Eylul University from 2003 to 2010. He has been working as Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Zonguldak Karaelmas University since 2010. His main research interests are in the field of biomedical signal processing, software development, computational neuroscience, artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, and microcontroller-based board design. He is involved in several national projects on computer science in medicine and on other fields that required using and designing a microcontroller-based board. He has been an IEEE Student Member since 2009.
